The Lodge; ( Tigin Sheainin )
This charming “ English Heritage “ French oak framed building has two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
Set in its own grounds with private access. The house faces south over looking the Dordogne river. Its has its own “Gloriette” gazebo and a Spa “Hot Tub” set into the decking which runs along the frontage of French windows, perfect for summer days on the terrace.
The Lodge has been beautifully fitted out for the owners own use. The tiled ground floor has an open plan kitchen / dinning room and sitting room complete with UK satellite TV. The ground floor bedroom is self contained with its own bathroom. The mezzanine level is accessed via a hardwood spiral staircase to another bedroom and bathroom with a balcony overlooking the sitting room. The main feature is a large mural on the full height gable end. Wifi is available on the outer deck and upper floor of the Lodge.
Location:
Bergerac airport is about a 10 minute drive away. The charming town of Bergerac is 13km with its many shops, restaurants and historical buildings to suit all tastes. The Chateau Les Merles is only half a mile away. Here is a very popular restaurant/ bar/hotel and Golf club. In the evening have a drink in their courtyard lit by flaming torches or better still stay on your own decking with a BBQ overlooking the river.
