For my part, as a guest in the Lodge - that is first class accommodation and we were exceedingly comfortable there (glad we didn't have to do the spiral staircase after a night on the excellent Bergerac wine!) and the hot tub was a real favourite with the little twins. My husband and I enjoyed cycling to Lalinde and back and would have done more had we had time! My own children are determined that we go back again - they might have to wait a while -  but I'm with them on that one.

Our holiday (and wedding) at the villa was amazing, something we will remember for ever, the house was beautiful and the location just the best... friendly and so relaxing, our wedding party loved the house and especially the pool. The house has such a great atmosphere, its a lovely place to chill out and relax. The wedding reception up at the Chateau les Merles was fantastic, thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful house, we can't wait to go back again.. and our family and friends always ask when this is going to happen.. :-)

Absolutely loved everything about our honeymoon. Weather was brilliant and food was even better. Thanks for Le Vieux Logis ate there on a couple of occasions, second to none. Although a small place in Perigeux*(Michelin star) was near in quality terms.
Are now planning a return and considering a family trip. Unfortunately summer school holidays appear to be fully booked and so May half term holiday looks most promising. After I have spoken to everyone I will organise securing this date.

Just thought I'd email you with some feedback from our recent holiday at Villa Acacias.

First impressions were almost overwhelming. What a fabulous building! The setting was superb and if anything the barrage added to the setting for some of our themed dinner nights, particularly the 'Bond' evening when Villa Acacias became Casino Royale!

We all had a great time, the pool was superb

Thank you so much for the use of your villa, myself and 19 others had the most amazing time. Due to all the different areas in the house and grounds, everyone was able to relax and have their own space to be. It's a real party house, loads of space and private. Your grounds man came over to sort out the issues after the storm, but was discreet and unobtrusive. My friends are all demanding to come back next year.
The other thing to mention as it is so important, the house was just spotless and really well equipped.  Carol, Devon

Firstly, we had a really great week, the house is in a wonderful location and provided lovely accommodation for the extended family. We all left feeling very relaxed and as though we had been there longer than a week, which is always a good sign. We also really appreciated your efforts to assist us with things like babysitting and our wine tour, it made life very much easier than if we had had to manage those things ourselves, so thanks very much for that. The house is extremely well-equipped and we had everything there that we would have had at home which, with the size of group we were, was a real bonus. The information that your website gives and in addition all of the books and guides in the house itself were very useful, and so we were able to make the most of our time there.
