Villa Acacias
French Riverfront Holiday Rental in Aquitaine
YOUR PRIVATE VILLA OVERLOOKING THE DORDOGNE.
A lovingly restored and unique Maison de Maitre situated in a spectacular location on the banks of the River Dordogne. The house is set in 8000 square metres of garden in an area designated “of special historic interest” due to the close proximity of the canal with its series of ancient locks opening onto the river.
The House itself accommodates 16 people in 8 double bedrooms. It has a private salt water heated infinity pool which provides a welcome and refreshing oasis on hot lazy days. There are three terraces, one with its own barbecue, giving the chance to enjoy al fresco dining while appreciating the lovely river views. But, if you are looking for the perfect setting for your continental breakfast or an early evening glass of wine, then you should take yourself off to our roof garden terrace.
I COULD NOT IMAGINE
A BETTER CHOICE
"What a wonderful house - it reached and exceeded all expectations and I had the gratitude of all my family for finding it! I thank the person who showed me your web site two years ago and put the idea into my head that one day we might get there. We had a very mixed group and somehow we found a way to all have fun.."

A HOME AWAY
FROM HOME
“Thank you so much for the use of your villa, myself and 19 others had the most amazing time. Due to all the different areas in the house and grounds, everyone was able to relax and have their own space to be. It's a real party house, loads of space and private. My friends are all demanding to come back next year. The other thing to mention as it is so important, the house was just spotless and really well equipped.”

PERFECT HOLIDAY!
"First impressions were almost overwhelming. What a fabulous building! The setting was superb and if anything the barrage added to the setting for some of our themed dinner nights, particularly the 'Bond' evening when Villa Acacias became Casino Royale! We all had a great time, the pool was superb."
